The Banff Pork Seminar Advisory Committee invites your sponsorship of the 2018 Banff Pork Seminar. Plans are well underway for the 2018 seminar to be held January 9-11 at The Banff Springs Hotel. The 2018 program contains an excellent line–up of world–class speakers and offers a blend of plenary speakers and practical breakout sessions.

A large part of the success of the seminar is the continued financial support from the many pork industry partners. Maintaining reasonable registration fees and offering such a strong roster of speakers would not be possible without financial support from companies such as yours. We, the BPS Advisory Committee, are sincerely thankful for your contributions.

Delegates attending recent seminars represented Canadian production from over 430,000 sows—33% of the Canadian sow herd. The Banff Pork Seminar offers sponsors a unique opportunity to network with all of the major pork industry players.

Of the 650 delegates attending the 2017 Banff Pork Seminar, approximately one-third identified themselves as producers. Past sponsors have told us they attend the Banff Pork Seminar because “the people who make the decisions are in attendance”. Other reasons sponsors give us for why they attend include:

Networking  A chance to talk to industry leaders from all sectors supplying the pork industry.

Hold additional meetings onsite Schedule a meeting with your staff and/or potential customers at the Banff Springs the week of the Banff Pork Seminar. Take advantage of a chance to reach a broad cross–section of players in the pork industry while they’re in the same place at the same time. Small meeting rooms are complimentary during the two days of the Seminar for sponsor groups staying on-site.

Location, location, location Banff, Alberta within the Banff National Park  is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Arrive early or stay late and ski, snowshoe, shop, hike, and explore in world–renowned Banff National Park. Ask us about special BPS pricing on activities!

There is something for everyone in your company We strive to have sessions for people in all roles in the pork industry. BPS is an educational event, but it also is potentially a great team–building opportunity. It’s a rare chance for folks in production to connect with each other and with the industry, have some fun, and learn something at the same time.

The Banff Pork Seminar is an opportunity for a break from day–to–day operations and a chance to recharge your batteries. Over the years, there’s been strong support for the event to be held where producers get to be away from their farms.

BPS delivers “the whole package” Top speakers addressing the most relevant topics of the day make this event consistently popular. With multiple breakout sessions, attendees have opportunity to select the ones most applicable to them. The common denominator for all sessions is that they are grounded in a fundamental concern for the profitability of the pork industry.

We have listened to your feedback and have created sponsorship opportunities to match your requirements and requests. Sponsors and non-sponsors may also purchase advertising in the published conference proceedings.

Please review the options to be a part of the Banff Pork Seminar in the BPS 2018 Sponsorship Package. Please respond at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred sponsorship opportunity by filling out and emailing your completed Sponsor Registration Form, found on the last page of the Sponsorship Package, to pork@ualberta.ca.
